Spanning 13,810ha, the North-East Region is mainly a residential region and housing estate largely comprised of HDB flats. "Lots of eating places with wide variety but do not come during peak hours, ie breakfast, lunch, dinner or supper cause you will have to be prepared to wait first for a parking lot, then wait for a table on the restaurant of your choice and finally wait for the food to be served."

"My favorite Nasi Lemak stall at this hawker Center next to the market. The rice served is yummy fragrant Bismati Rice (long grain rice) in Coconut Milk (Lemak - rich and tasty) with crispy deep fried fish and well marinated Chicken wings, Otah Otah and Ssmbal Ikan Bilis."

"Cozy little estate, with the houses consisting of mainly landed property. It's like a little community in itself, as there are food centres, shopping malls, schools, and mostly what you may need, all in one estate."
