"Generous Portion of Chicken Rice. Chicken Taste is fine. Chicken is bit salty with the light soy sauce (Can tell uncle you dont want sauce). Rice tastes fine (like home cooked rice). Chilli is on the saltier side as well (not the sour kind). Auntie (stall holder) volunteered to give me double portion of rice. I ordered $4.50 (upgraded from $3.50 to $4.50 for more meat). You can add Veg for $0.50 or $1 (very good option if you need veg). Overall, very filling for someone with huge appetite like it. High value for money in CBD area (where you cant get big portion below $5.50). I may buy again when my hungry soul craves for chicken rice in large portion."

"not sure if the chicken was bad because of the cooking method or the malaysian export ban. the meat was tough and skin was not smooth. this was despite me getting the thigh portion of the chicken. rice could be more fragrant and the black sauce is a bit different from the usual. however, there was a very generous portion of cucumber and stall owners are friendly."

"Decent plate of chicken rice located in the business district. Steam chicken is chewy and moist. Soup is flavourful."

"One of the best chicken rice this part of the city. The aunty at the store is always cheerful and packs the takeaway boxes so lovingly, shell remind you of your mother :-)"
